As I head out the door everyday for work, my default makeup look is a neutral shadow, a few strokes of black liner and a fun lip color. It’s the easiest way to breathe life into your style and look extra fancy in under 5 minutes. So as such, my lip color collection is a little out of control. But I can’t help it, especially since there are so many drugstore brands that rival high end ones. Whether I need bold, long lasting color or a natural look that give my dry lips the moisture it needs, these lip colors have my covered.
CoverGirl LipPerfection LipColor
I raved so much about this lip color on here I’m totally not going to bore you guys again. To make a long story short, this brand is my holy grail of lipstick.
Rimmel London Moisture Renew
Their new collection of lip colors combines the intense color of a lipstick and the moisturizing properties of a balm. With 25 shades to choose from, there’s literally something for everyone.
NYC Ultra Moist Lipwear
When you want to try out a new lip color but don’t want to make the investment, NYC Ultra Moist Lipwear is the way to go. For a $1, you can have all the lip color fun you want with a formula that’s almost as good as the others.
Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Shimmer
They wrapped up all of their natural and nourishing lip care goodness in cute little tube and gave it great color. Don’t let the shimmer fool you. These bad boys pack plenty of color.
Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer
This lip color has answered my beauty prayers, bringing the high impact color I crave in handy and easy to apply gloss. The shine is amazing and the color literally lasts all day.
MUA Color Intense Lip Color
This UK beauty brand has come stateside, sold exclusively in CVS stores. Though it was a new company to me, it definitely left me impressed with rich pigments that last all day.
Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick
This lip color collection has the same rich pigmentation and hydrating abilities as the CoverGirl brand, with plenty of available shades – from barely there neutrals to electric pinks, reds and oranges.
