Beauty Blast: Molton Brown Skincare Products

Since I was pregnant my skin has gone through some major changes!  It breaks out a lot more often and the dark circles around my eyes are insane.  While facial masks and a great concealer can help the problem, this work at home mom doesn’t have the time for all that!  I need something that I can easily add to my beauty routine and give me the results I’m looking for – cleaner skin and brighter eyes.  When the people from Molton Brown reached out to be about their Pink Toronja Refining Toner and Vita B3 Eye Concentrate Anti-Wrinkle Cream, I was very interested in seeing if these two products fit the bill.  After using them consistently for a month, here’s what I thought!

Skin Toner

Pink Toronja Refining Toner ($42)

This toner promises to get rid of excess skin oils with its fruit based ingredients.  Pink Toronja  grapefruit extract exfoliates skin and lime fruit does the toning.  The toner is alcohol and has a nice floral scent.  After cleansing, I put some toner on a small cotton ball and gently scrubbed my skin.  It feels a little tingly at first but refreshing.  What surprised me the most was how much dirt my cleanser missed!  Craziness!  The toner picked up all of that, leaving me with fresh and super clean skin.

Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream

Vita B3 Eye Concentrate Anti Wrinkle Cream ($69)

Formulated with Vitamin B3 and ash bark complex as well as a Tetra-peptide complex, dark shadows, puffiness, and wrinkles promise to go bye-bye with this cream.  Feeling more like a serum than a cream, a little goes a very long way.  All you need is a small dot to cover both eye areas.  I admit, I was very skeptical that this product would get rid of these dark circles.  However, I was pleasantly proved wrong!  After a month’s use, I saw a significant decrease in the darkness around my eyes.  Pure awesomeness!

Overall, I was very pleased with both products, so much so that the higher end price tags don’t bother me too much.  They’re both very good at what they do and after using them for a month, I still have plenty of both products left over.

Have you tried any Molton Brown products?  What did you think?
