Beauty Blast: Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex

Night Cream

I recently joined iFabbo, an international organization for Fashion and Beauty Bloggers, giving me access to some great products to review.  For my first one, I chose Hydroxatone’s AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex, a moisturizing cream you can use both day and night.  Granted I don’t have issues with wrinkles just yet but I always need a moisturizer with SPF 15 to keep me protected from the sun as well as keep my skin soft during the cooler months (well, slightly cooler down here!).    It also promises to help your kin look and feel younger with these other key ingredients:

  • Hyaluronic Acid:  helps skin retain moisture for increased smoothness and softness while keeping wrinkles at bay.
  • Matrixyl3000:  helps skin to promote natural levels of collagen, fibronectin, and hyaluronic acid.
  • Argireline: an anti-aging peptide designed to deliver fast results.

The packaging has a luxury cream feel with a sleek blue jar that looks great on the bathroom counter. The cream itself is a bit thicker than your normal drugstore moisturizer, with a slight scent.  Very little goes a long way, a dime size enough to cover your face.  After applying it, my skin felt very soft and moisturized.  If you have dry skin, this would be perfect to use both in the morning and before bed.  My combination skin preferred to use it as a night cream, the complex a bit too heavy for day time.  It’s still in the upper 80’s out here and sweating is a part of my life when I step outside!   At night, however, it gives me the moisture I need and I wake up with soft skin every time.  Now I have to warn you, the price point is a little steep ($51 on sale at Ulta).  If you don’t mind splurging on a good moisturizer, especially a night cream that your skin needs in the colder months, then this a good deal!

Have you tried any skincare products from Hydroxatone?
