Florida doesn’t get too much of a real winter, so when it comes to trying to dress for the season, you have to get creative. Layering is key, especially when 70 degree days roll around. That’s why I keep a variety of blazers, cardigans, and button down shirts so I can do just that.
{Black Blazer: Thrifted; Blue Maxie Dress: Target; Pink Cami: Charlotte Russe: Black Shoes:}
This dress has gathered a lot mileage since I bought it back in May. It’s soo forgiving and super comfy for those days where I need to get dressed up but just don’t feel like it. I put it over a colored cami for a pop of color and throw on my favorite sandals. To take advantage of the mild day, I went for one of my blazers stepping out of my box a little bit. I kinda like it, though I would probably go for a shorter and more fitted blazer next time. To keep with my winterized theme, I went for my closed black shoes that look like boots when worn with long skirts or pants.
{Vintage Pearl Necklace: Gifted; Big Gold Earrings: Forever 21; Brown Shades: Clothes Hound}
I just love, love, love these earrings from Forever 21. They are the newest addition to my jewelry family, snatching these up for a New Year’s Eve party. They’re big, patterned, and so funky, what’s not to love! The necklace is another fave. I love the vintage feel, giving a twist to the classic pearl necklace.
Do you have to winterize your outfits? Or do you live in a place that has real seasons?
