If you follow me on Twitter, especially on a Thursday night, you may know of how crazy I am about the show Scandal. Starring Kerry Washington, the show follows Olivia Pope, a political fixer who saves the PR lives of the most prominent people in Washington. As a writer, I love the twisted and jaw dropping story lines that are seriously missing from a lot of TV shows lately. As a fashion blogger, the style of the main character just makes my heart sing! It’s very rare I find a TV show that emulates the clothes that I would wear every single day – classic style with a wow factor that can make the wearer stand out with just the use of neutral colors. Olivia gives new meaning to the power suit while keeping it feminine (and un-scandalous!). The dresses she wore to White House events are stunning and even the cardigans she wears while lounging around her super fabulous apartment make me swoon. If there’s anybody’s closet I want to raid, it would be hers all day!
While I gear up for the premiere tonight (by getting the baby to bed and turning off my phone) I wanted to highlight some of the best outfits from the past two seasons.
