I couldn’t ask for a more perfect holiday weekend! The weather down here was absolutely gorgeous as we headed down to my Mom’s house for Thanksgiving day. I’ve been dreaming about my Mom’s turkey and my Grandma’s yams for days and the dinner did not disappoint! I even threw on my seldom used apron and threw down on my famous mac and cheese. Because my family is Cuban, it’s not often we get to eat American food like this believe it or not, so this time of year is always an extra special treat!

With all of that eating that was about to go down, I had to be comfortable so I went with my black leggings and my now extremely oversized blue blouse. I still love this shirt so I didn’t want to give it up so I layered it over a pink cami and used the belt to cinch the waist. As much as I would’ve loved to rock my glittery Maddens, I haven’t worn heels like that in almost a year so I went with these shoes instead. It gave me the height I wanted and the comfort I needed.

We all had a blast, including the princess who I swore wanted to have some food too! LOL
How was your Thanksgiving holiday?
