Fierce OOTD: Keeping It Simple and Keeping it Real

Black Top

I just have to keep it real with you guys – the lack of outfit posts lately isn’t because I don’t like doing them anymore.  It’s because my wardrobe is literally shrinking by the day!  I’ve added four more tops to my “Cannot Fit” pile in my closet just in the past two weeks. The only T-shirts I can wear are my husbands and I can only rock two pairs of shoes.  As much as I try to remix my closet, my choices are getting slimmer and slimmer and my outfits have been on repeat for the longest.  They also aren’t the most imaginative either, my accessories my only saving grace.  And as you can see too, I’m not wearing a stitch of makeup (my mornings are rough man!)

This outfit is no different and is the few pre-preggo pieces can I still wear.   I wore this all black ensemble to work yesterday, which proved to be comfy without looking like a bum!  The last time I wore this top was for a Bloggers Do It Better Challenge and the trousers are the last of my regular pants in my closet rotation and I am hanging on to them for dear life! LOL

I took the opportunity to wear this new necklace I picked up from H&M over the weekend.  I have the shopping itch something serious and buying it made me a feel better (for now anyways!)

Total Sidenote:  As this pregnancy draws to a close, my energy level can take a serious nosedive, hence the sporadic posting from time to time.  So if you’re a regular reader and interested in doing a guest post, feel free to shoot me an email (margaret (at) getfiercestyle.com)  I would love to have you!

Aw honey – the no longer fit pile must be frustating – but not long till you will be able to fit back into them right? And you’ll have company! Anyhow – this outfit rocks – you make pregnancy look sassy yet elegant. How long to go?

Thank you V! I have two more months to go and then have to wait a few weeks before I can get this weight off. Can’t wait to get back in my clothes!

Thank you! One of the pregnancy perks is my hair is behaving so well! When I blew it out last time it was at my shoulders :)

Are you sick in the morning? Sorry if you are. You are looking great and I was thinking about you about an hour ago so when I popped open my Bloglovin and you were there I was like, “Hi!” I had the same problem when I was pregnant. I just couldn’t see spending a lot on clothing when I would only be wearing once. (Or what I thought would be once.)

      LOL!

Thank goodness my morning sickness is a thing of my first trimester past! I was soo sick those first three months I lost weight.

Yeah, I can’t see myself spending a ton of money on maternity clothing. Up until now, I’ve only bought two pairs of maternity pants for work, a few bras, and a few shirts from WalMart. I’d rather spend that money on the baby! :)
