My Review of the Holiday VoxBox from Influenster

Holiday VoxBox

Before the holidays I gave you guys a sneak peak at my first Holiday VoxBox from Influenster and I’ve had a chance to review the samples they sent over.

imPress Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails:  I haven’t worn press on nails since I was a teenager and when I took a look at these it seems that they have come a long way since then!  These nails were super easy to apply and the length was perfect.  I also loved how natural they looked and the color was amazing!  My only peeve was that I had a few pop off on me by the end of the day. I would definitely buy these again (along with a little nail glue!).  They have a great collection of colors and funky designs too!

SoftSoap Coconut Scrub  Bar Soap:  I am a big fan of SoftSoap’s body washes and had no idea they had bar soap too.  Now, I gave up on bar soap a long time ago because I found it to be too drying on my skin.  I was hoping this wouldn’t be the case with these, especially with such a yummy name.  Unfortunately it was, despite how much I really wanted to like it.  I also wish it had more scrub in the lather too.  I will say though that the scent is amazing and if you use bar soap, I would recommend it to you.

Montagen Jeunesse Face Mask:  I can’t resist a good face mask, especially with a name like Passion.  The mask smelled as fruity and fabulous as the package lead on.  Once on my face it wasn’t that fun, as the mask dried and made my face feel a little too tight for my taste.  After 15 minutes, the mask peeled off rather easily, not as messy as others I’ve tried in the past.  My skin felt very soft afterwards.

New York Color Liquid Lip Shine

New York Color Liquid Lip Shine:  Ya’ll know me and my love for a good lip gloss!  I’ve seen these brand around and was excited to give it a try.  I was a little skeptical of the color though (Nude York City) thinking it would be a bit too light for me, but it wasn’t a bad shade at all.  It gave my lips a light colored shine that was perfect for a natural day look.  It also wasn’t tacky and had good staying power.  I have my eye on Rivington Rose and Wine n Dine (don’t you just love those names?)

Mentos Pure Fresh Gum:  You never know when you need to freshen up after a meal and if you love a gum that’s loaded with minty flavor this is for you.  I’m a Tic Tac girl personally and not the biggest fan of mint anything so it was very overwhelming for me.  However, once I got through that, it did have a pleasant flavor that lasted awhile.

Larabar in Peanut Putter Chocolate Chip:  This bar made from 100% food was quite tasty!  You could taste the peanut butter with it sticking all over your mouth.  The chocolate gives it a nice smooth taste, though I wish there was just a little bit more sweetness to it.

Have you  ladies tried any of these products?  Any of them worth giving a try?

Yay for fun products to review! I still have my mentos gum and I’m loving it. But I love mentos – haha. I’m kinda iffy about the lip gloss, it really reminds me of that cake batter tasting & smelling stuff I used to go gaga over in highschool – not so much as a girl in my late twenties.
