Fierce OOTD: In Love With My Cardigan

I admit, when it comes to clothes I am not an impulse shopper.  As a matter of fact, I kind of prefer to shop alone because I can spend hours going from store to store only to come out with a few items.  I guess I have this fear of buyers remorse – I don’t want to get something only to hate it once I get home.  So if I see something and I’m still in love with it 30 minutes later (and the price is right) it goes with me.  With this sweater, however, it was love at first sight.

New York and Company Pants

{Black and Grey Fly Away Cardigan: New York and Company; White Short Sleeve Shirt: Rainbow; Grey Pants: New York and Company; Buckle Pumps: DSW; Sequined Headband: Claire’s; Pearl Studded Earrings:  Charlotte Russe; Silver Necklace: Brighton’s}

I saw it on New York and Company’s website the day before Black Friday and I literally had a fashion bloggers OMG moment in front of my laptop.  I don’t know if it’s the colors that got me first or the cool flutter layer action in the front but I had to have it!  When I went into the store the next day I went straight to the rack and didn’t think twice!  (Plus the entire store was 60% off!  Oh yeah!)

Black and Grey Sweater

It’s my first time wearing it.  You know you like save your favorite items for special days! ;)   The Hubby’s job is having a holiday dinner after work today so….today qualifies as a special day! This cardigan is as comfy as it looks and keeps me warm enough not to melt in the Floridian winter, especially when I layered it over this short sleeve shirt.

Sequin Headband

Did I also mention that my pants collection has been taken over by New York and Company?  They are the only store where I can buy their pants and not have to try them on.  Their City Knit pants  fit me perfectly,are super comfortable, and perfect for the office.  I’m pretty sure I have all of them by now (those sales get me every time!)

Silver Jewelry

Can we give my husband a round of applause for taking this pictures for me early this morning?  I told him that I might have to make  him my photographer boyfriend ( I think he wouldn’t mind that…right??)

      Definitely go to NY&Co and scoop one up. They always have their clothing on sale. I can’t remember a time I paid full price for anything on there! They also come in brown in purple which are nice too. :)

    I love the ombre print and I am the exact same way about shopping. I love to shop alone, take my time and really pick out what I love. New York and Company has great business casual pieces.

    You’re working those heels miss! :)

    I love this sweater, it would go with so many things, and be totally comfortable. I might try NY&Co pants, I am constantly disappointed by GAP, Banana Republic (i.e. Fancy GAP), fit and quality. I used to live near a TJ Maxx where I bought all my dress pants and it was great because they were so cheap at least. Also, can we stop this low-rise obsession???? It’s so rare I find a pant or jean with a high enough rise for my body, so annoying. Great outfit, have fun at the party.

      Yes!!!! I cannot do that Low Rise business anymore. It’s just not flattering to my figure anyways. I need something to help tuck the tummy in not make it stick out! LOL

      Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting! :)
