Now normally I’m a girl who loves to stay drama-free but when it comes to makeup, I’m trying to find ways o bring on the drama, especially if an occasion (like the Oscars! J ) comes up!  As part of my beauty resolutions for 2010, I wanted to get a little dangerous with color and I think found just the goodies to stick to that!  See what I think of Avon’s High Definition Color Cosmetics collection!

Ultra Color Rich Lipstick Mega Impact Lipstick

The name is certainly a mouthful but one thing this lipstick is full of is color!  I tried the Kicked Up Coral and as soon as I put it on I was hit with color.  I’m not a bold lips kinda girl (though I love to see it on other people, like Ms. Sandra Bullock!) so I was very conservative putting it on, giving me the right about of color.  It also has a little shimmer which is a lot fun.  The color is very rich and goes on real smooth.   It also has some staying power which is definitely a good thing!

Super Extend Mascara

My favorite thing about this mascara is that it feels super light on my lashes!  The bristles on the wand are thin and feel it catching every lash! I also haven’t experienced any clumping.  It does add great color to my lashes and does so with ease.

Glimmersticks Diamonds Eye Liner

Ladies I save the best for last!  This eyeliner definitely brings on the drama and the colors I wore (Emerald Glow and Smokey Diamond) were awesome!  I paired the smokey diamond with my steel eyeshadow and it gave me a great smokey eye that had a hint of sparkle to it.  The liner is easy to use (trust me I am eye liner challenged!) and smudges great for that smokey effect.  Used with a neutral shadow, your eyes will definitely pop and give you great shimmer (even when your shadow doesn’t!)
